At Aprendamos we accept resumes with a letter of interest at all times. If we do not have an available position when your resume is received, we place the resume in an active job search file for 90 days. During these 90 days, when we have an available position, we check the active file and pull all resumes that are qualified adding them to the job search. All posted jobs are considered open until the position is filled or otherwise specified on the job posting.

At Aprendamos we offer early intervention services for children ages birth to three in their natural environment. Children in this age group are eligible to receive services by either having or being at-risk for a developmental delay. We provide a wide range of services such as speech-language, occupational, and physical therapy. Along with family therapy, social work, family service coordination, behavior interveniton, autism services, nutrition, nursing, infant mental health, infant massage, and more.

At our Esperanza Children’s Therapy Clinic we provide out patient therapy services for children ages three to 18. Services include speech-language, occupational, and physical therapy. We currently have two clinics to better serve the families of Southern New Mexico. Our clinics are located in Las Cruces and Anthony, New Mexico.

At Mariposa Autism Service Center we provide therapy services for children diagnosed with Autism. We utilize Applied Behavior Analytic Therapy for children ages three to 18.

At Alegria Family Counseling center we provide a wide array of family therapy services. Services are for children, adolecents, and adults.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Mariposa Autism Service Center – Las Cruces, NM

Aprendamos Intervention Team currently has an opening for the position of Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) within the Mariposa Autism Service Center (MASC). The ideal candidate is an individual that possesses a MA/MS in a related field. The MASC program provides services to children with autism utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Responsibilities include: Supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) who are implementing individualized behavior analytic procedures.

We are currently seeking BCBAs who:

  • Are dedicated to creating positive change in the lives of children with autism and their families.
  • Believe they would thrive in a team-based setting.
  • Are willing to implement Applied Behavior Analytic Therapy.
  • Would be comfortable working in a variety of settings that may include community places, homes or clinics.
  • Are experienced working with children, have a high energy level and professional demeanor.

Pediatric Physical Therapist
Aprendamos Intervention Team -Doña Ana County, NM

Aprendamos Intervention Team currently has an opening for the position of Pediatric Physical Therapist. Qualified candidates will be working in a full-time Early Intervention setting that requires a Masters or Doctorate degree in the field of physical therapy and is bilingual (preferred but not required). Aprendamos Intervention Team approaches early intervention services through a collaborative, team-based approach.  All services are offered in the child’s natural environment. We are looking for experienced physical therapists that are willing to work within our community of Dona Ana County, NM.

Physical Therapist
Esperanza Children’s Therapy Clinic – Las Cruces, NM

The Physical Therapist (PT) will be working in a clinical setting. The PT will assess the management of movement dysfunction and the enhancement of physical and functional abilities. Evaluate including the administration and interpretation of tests. Assess evaluation. Submit reports. Requires a Master’s degree with their Physical Therapist license issued by the state of New Mexico on file. CPR Certified. Bilingual-English/ Spanish Preferred.

Family Therapist
Alegria Family Counseling

Alegria Family Counseling is looking for a Full Time Therapist who is committed to serving their families, has strong boundaries and ethics, and feels a call to make a difference. We are looking for a Licensed Therapist who has experience with children, couples and families.

Our primary mission is to work with children, individuals, couples, and families toward the meaningful resolutions of the problems they’re facing. The Clinic provides an atmosphere of respect and dignity where each individual and family can be served. Our professional therapists work with each family and individual client to create practical and effective ways of solving the client’s concerns, issues, and problems.  We are a committed team of professionals that values trust, honesty and respect while providing quality services to our clients.

Therapist Responsibilities

  • Provide psychosocial assessments, diagnosis, crisis interventions, treatment planning with evidence based therapy interventions, and discharge planning to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and abide by ethical standards and code of conduct as described by clinical therapists licensing board as well as agency standards as followed by AAMFT ethical guidelines.
  • Generate and maintain accurate clinical records including progress notes, clinical intake paperwork, treatment plans and reviews in a timely manner.
  • Prepares reports such as, but not limited to court reports, outpatient treatment reports, disability paperwork, and EAP forms.
  • Make collateral contacts, consult with other therapists and related professionals, and provide referral resources to appropriate service agencies.
  • Meet established individual and agency productivity goals by managing no call no show appointments.
  • Clinically document services provided in accordance with legal, ethical with specific insurance requirements.
  • Ability to assess crisis situations and intervene appropriately by complying with protocols

Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a clinically related mental health field and possess one of the following New Mexico licenses: Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW); Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC); Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC). A minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred.

Occupational Therapist
Aprendamos Intervention Team

Aprendamos Intervention Team is seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapist in our Early Intervention program. Aprendamos Intervention Team serves Dona Ana County which will require traveling to provide services

Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in an allied health, education or human services field. Applicant must have a license from the New Mexico Board of Examiners to practice as an Occupational Therapist. Applicant must have knowledge of infant/child physical and intellectual development, as well as theories, principles and evidenced based practices and techniques of related therapeutic treatment, including oral motor development and feeding.   Applicant must meet discipline-specific qualifications and complete required training modules for Early Intervention Professional and Early Intervention Case Management certification within one month of hire. Applicant must demonstrate time management and organizational skills and the ability to develop, write and implement a plan of care (treatment plan or Individualized Family Service Plan) to promote outcome achievement.

Bilingual is preferred.
