Aprendamos Early Intervention

Aprendamos Early Intervention is dedicated to providing compassionate support and specialized services for children from birth to age three who experience developmental delays or disabilities. Our goal is to help children acquire essential skills to thrive, grow, and develop to their fullest potential. Both through in-person visits in familiar environments and via telehealth, we tailor our services to meet the unique needs of each family.

Who we serve

Developmental Delay

A delay of 25% or more in areas such as speech, motor skills, or social-emotional development.

Established Medical Condition

Conditions like Down Syndrome or Autism that are linked to developmental delays.

At-Risk Biological/Medical Condition:

We extend our support to caregivers in Dona Ana, and Sierra County, ensuring they have access to valuable resources and education.

At-Risk Environmental Condition:

Challenges such as lack of access to resources that may affect your child’s development.

Your child may be eligible if they meet at least one of these.

  • Developmental Instruction

    Guiding families on activities to support their child’s development through daily routines.

  • Family Support Services

    Providing counseling and skills to help families understand and interact with their child.

  • Nutrition Services

    Evaluating and supporting the child’s nutritional needs by a qualified nutritionist.

  • Applied Behavior Analysis

    Offered through the Mariposa Autism Service Center (MASC), ABA therapy helps improve communication, social skills, and reduces problem behaviors.

  • Occupational Therapy

    Helping children develop motor skills and independence in daily activities.

  • Physical Therapy

    Improving a child’s movement and balance through therapeutic activities and equipment.

  • Service Coordination

    Guiding families through evaluations, referrals, and the development of their service plan.

  • Conscious Fathering Classes

    A hands-on class for new fathers, covering essential newborn care like holding, feeding, and comforting. Taught by experienced fathers.

  • Aprendamos Pediatric Specialists

Accessible Services

No Cost to Families

At Aprendamos Early Intervention, we are committed to ensuring families have access to the services they need. As a provider for the New Mexico Family Infant Toddler (FIT) Program, we offer services at no cost to families, funded through Turquoise Care Medicaid, and state resources.

Visit Our Facility!

Our facility connects families to resources, answer questions, provides consultations, and coordinates services. Most of our services are provided in the community, ensuring families get the support they need wherever they are.
